Raj Nagi confesses, "I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1996. That same day I experienced the love and peace of God. I quit drinking alcohol and devoted my life to living for Jesus. I began attending church and prayer meetings and learning all I could about Jesus."
Nilesh speaks from his heart, " I was born and brought up in a non- Christian family. For the last 20 years or so I used to worship idols. The culture I come from you are told this is the god and you must worship it. To receive any miracles I had to perform something like chant mantras x number of times or offer a sacrifice.
Sravani says, " I am from Hyderabad , India but now live in the United States . I grew up in a Hindu family where I used to perform many rituals to please many different Hindu gods. Some of these rituals were done in hopes of attaining material comforts, some were done out of fear to appease gods, and some were done as tradition; but none were done out of love. In spite of all of these rituals I was not a happy or satisfied person. "

We came to the USA when I was 13 years of age. Both my brothers and I had gone to a Gujarati medium school in Gujarat, India. Therefore, we spoke no English when we were admitted to school here. Subsequently, I was dropped a grade (from 9th in India to 8th in California). I spent four years in ESL (English as a Second Language) program in junior high school as well as in high school.
It was quite difficult at first to adjust to the new culture."
My story starts off in a hospital in Toronto, Canada, I was born on June7th, 1976 at North York General Hospital. My childhood years were spent in Toronto, Canada. It was when I was 12 years old I moved to India.
As a teenager I got into a couple of things that my friends and the world as a while considered fun. Pretty soon I found out that I was a slave to the pleasures that controlled me. My life was truly miserable."
I was born into a Sindhi Hindu family in Lagos, Nigeria. During my childhood in Nigeria and Liberia, my mother taught me the Hindu prayers. At home, we worshipped the goddess Laxmi, but also prayed to Guru Nanak, as well as following the teaching of Jhule Lal.
