This website is for welcoming South Asians to their new life in North America ("naya jeevan" = "new life" in Hindi).

What are you expecting most as you arrive in the US or Canada? A new beginning, a new life? Have you been pleased or disappointed by your experience - or perhaps even undergoing culture shock? That’s where we want to help.

Who are we?

We are a group of friends, some South Asians who have gone before you as immigrants to North America, and some North Americans, who in various ways can empathize with the South Asian immigrant experience. We are here to communicate with you and help you get through any rough spots in your adjustment to life here.

We are also people who have come to know the greatest friend of all, the Lord Jesus Christ. We would love to introduce Him to you, too - but only if you want, there's no forcing or pressuring here. Lord Jesus has given us a new spiritual  life that's a lot more satisfying than any kind of "better" life that North America has to offer, and that's all we want to share with you.
